I’m staying in Toronto this week, I’m giving a talk at VSLive and staying in town for a few days. It turns out the Jeremy C. Wright, the prolific blogger and author of a new blogging book (Blog Marketing - McGraw Hill), is in town today too. We met a couple months ago at one of Scoble’s geek dinners. An interesting guy, he’s always bubbling over with ideas about writing and blogging. I love being around people who are full of vigor and constantly thinking about new concepts to try, new paths to trod. It’s why startups are so energetic, why hanging out with people who are actively building something fresh is so exhilarating.
Besides all this Jeremy is a nice guy too. He’s picking me up at the airport and dropping me off at my hotel. We’re going to a meet-up later tonight (my first meet-up in Canada). I’m looking forward to it, should be fun.
