When teaching or presenting I often need to launch an app quickly. If I know I will be using an application before the session then I will set up a shortcut or alias ahead of time.  But there are many times when I want to run an ad-hoc demonstration.

The Start/Run dialog is a quick way to launch an app.  I’m sure you already know this.  Here is a list of keyword you can use in the dialog.  I’m writing this tip today because I’d forgotten how to launch Word from the dialog.  Today I was throwing out some old notes and saw the keyword for Microsoft Word.
